The system is flakey, so it is possible for one who did everythng right to need 8 months for NOA2, or one month, or anything in between. The box yours is in calnbe pulled quickly or it can sit around for months. I even heard of a box getting pulled by an adjudicator who then goes on vacation and it sits on his or her desk for 2 weeks.

Flakey? You bet. But that is the system for better or worse.

Goodmorning guys,

I am curious as to I've been following content on here and some timelines seem to have 7 to 9 months processing time. Are these instances where the case may have some issue or missing documents? Has anyone had there K1 within the processing time of 5 months? It would help us to know how we can avoid delays. Our wedding date is already cray5ol.gif

5 months is barely enough to get you to the interview.

They seem to have sped up considerably recently. You can see in Igor's lists that CSC is now approving petitions in 1-2 months and TSC is 2-3 months. There is no guarantee that this will continue though. They could just as well stop processing all K1s for a month or two or three and then it'll be back to waiting half a year.

As you can see from my timeline, it took us from Jan to Aug to get the visa and that was with no RFEs whatsoever and a really fast consulate (Ukraine).

Well I'll have my interview on Oct 11 -good wishes please- so that will close up to 6 months since we started the process on April 16, but I strongly advice you to not plan, It could take longer and longer the waiting times between sending the papers to the other offices is too long
