hi! can i ask how long will it take for passport to be delivered/available for pick up if my status on CEAC shows issued already. I just want to know how much longer we need to wait because my kids and i are booked for Nov 25th flight to NJ :)

  • March 11, 2014: Received by USCIS
  • March 19, 2014 : Fingerprint fee received
  • March 20, 2014: Checks Cashed
  • May 5, 2014 : Biometrics Appointment
  • May 22, 2014 : EAD/AP Approved
  • May 31, 2014 : EAD/AP Combo Card received
  • June 27, 2014 : Notice of Potential Interview waiver
  • January 21, 2015: RFE for Marriage License
  • February 25,2015: Updates:(Text & Email): Card being ordered to be produced, Card in Production, Welcome letter mailed.
  • March 2, 2015: Welcome Letter received dated February 26, 2015
  • March 3, 2015: Case update : Card was mailed.

We called the embassy and they said the CO requested a document but hasn't arrived yet.

I was born in Libya by the way and am half Libyan but grew up here in the Philippines with my grandparents.

The reason for your AP is they are doing background checks on you since you were born in Libya and a parent is Libyan. Daily updates mean your case processing is almost near the end. Good luck.

hi a_ saif. my case was updated on November 29.status was turned to ready open case..it was ready for interview for 49 days.

when was ur interview date? how long ur been waiting?

What number should I call regarding my visa? My interview went well last nov. 27 but I wonder why my ceac status is still ready for interview. (Case updated dec. 02) im getting worried :(
