Hi all:

My wife is interested in bringing her parents to the US, now that she's a citizen. We have one issue, though: her legal name in the US has always been with my last name--her greencard was issued with my last name, and she's never used her maiden name in the states.

What sort of proof can we provide of her name change, given that USCIS is the only entity that ever knew her as her maiden name? Do we request some sort of proof from USCIS?

Thanks!

EDIT: Would a translation of our marriage certificate work?

If you are from Philippines you need Birth Certificate from NSO showing the Name of your mother and her Birth Certifcate from NSO as well as a proof that she is your mother..
