I received an RFE from NVC via email and it says:

In Part 6. Sponsor's Income and Employment, please correct the following...

[x] Items 13.a.1. The income you enter must match the total (gross) income reported on your most recent Federal

income tax return. If you filed Form 1040EZ, use the adjusted gross income instead.

The amount I wrote down of AOS from is "my gross pay shown in my W2". However, the total amount in my gross pay

reflects for 9 months only, not the whole 12 months because within that year I was in a medical leave for 3 months.

I was not not compensated that time.

I did not file for 1040EZ the one I have is 1040 which is a jouint file with my husband.

1.) How will I correct the amount and resend the revisAOS form to NVC?

2.) should I NOT follow what is in my W2 gross pay, instead compute my whole 12 months salary and disregard that I was not

compensated for 3 mothns (ex... monthly salary x 12 months = gross pay)

I really appreciate your help.

What did you end up doing ?

Did you enter the amount exactly as it appears on line 22 of the Form 1040 + Submit Form i-864 A for whomever you filed jointly with ?
