Wanted to give a quick update as it is coming up on 6 months since I filed for my parents. I contacted the office of Senator Ted Cruz (Texas) a few weeks ago and yesterday got a phone call from the immigration representative there. She told me that it is a processing time of approx. 6 months at the national benefits center before it is transferred to the local service center and Texas right now is the slowest. She was told by USCIS to contact them again after this week if it still hadn't been sent out.

I'm glad that we at least have senate involvement now and hopefully the other march filers and February will see results soon.

Texas Service Center for a petition for the parents? Are you certain where the petition IS, at the moment? That doesn't sound right, as TSC mostly handles I-129F petitions for K-1 visa chasers, overflow from CSC and VSC.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
