Medical Experience-- Anyone Else Seen This?

Hi,

My wife recently got her medical done. She did not have a vaccination record with her as she said most people in India don't have them. She has gotten a Polio vaccine before but no Hepatitis vaccines. Anyhow, when the physician asked her for her vaccination record and she said she didn't have one, he said an expression in Hindi which basically translates to, "Oh then nothing can be done for you." But he had her get 2 shots: Adacel 0.5 ml, and Tresivac - (measles+mumps+rubella) 0.5 ml. I looked up Adacel and according to Wikipedia, that is for Tdap.

When she picked up her medical report, besides the 2 sealed envelopes she was also given a copy of her Vaccination Documentation Worksheet. At the bottom, 2 checkboxes are checked:

- vaccine history incomplete
- applicant may be eligible for blanket waiver(s) because vaccination(s) not medically appropriate (as indicated above)

Has anyone seen something like this before? I'm worried now that at the interview, they may say she needs to get more vaccinations (?).

Yes it said that on mine too, so DONT worry. mine said that BUT it also said i could not have 2nd dose of mmr due to government restrictions. and yours is stating that they arn't appropriate. Good luck you will be fine with that.
