I was hoping you had more than a google search.

In the age of google, people are decently good at finding information, yet still not good at knowing what to do with it.

The first half a dozen listed are versions of news stories about the same story.

After that is the story of a gun law being upheld.

Furthermore, the google search you did is "court strikes down firearm." So you are picking and choosing what information you see, instead of the whole picture.

This sounds like one of those weird factoids that has gotten spun on Fox news.

Sorry, was hoping for a discussion of law.

The point is ignore the study and focus on the biblical like following of the NRA.

Firearms are pretty much unregulated. Sure there are fully automatic weapon bans, but for the most part its loophole city. Anyone can sell firearms without reporting the sale. I doubt we'd want open air drug markets selling dope; as they do at gun shows. They are even providing CWP to blind people?

I'm not for banning firearms, but there needs to be more common sense regulations.

The sale of firearms are similar to prescriptions. When buying from a pharmacy you have to go through regulations similar to buying from a FFL. Private persons are rarely prosecuted just for selling their own supply - however in both cases if the end user is harmed the seller will be charged.

Case in point, where as most US states allow the private sale of firearms, people have been prosecuted when the buyer kills or harms someone. So if you sell your privately owned firearm without determining if the person is eligible you can still be on the hook.
