Use of Electronic Application Form Required Starting November 1

To speed the application process for a non-immigrant visa to the United States, the U.S. Embassy will require all visa applicants after November 1, 2006, to use an electronic application form available for free on the Internet.

We can get the 156K updated form on this forum. Does anyone know how to get an updated 157 form on line?

Only the DS-156 is required to be generated electronically. Not DS-156K & DS-157.

Believe it or not, the forms received from the Consulate in Rio de Janeiro have expired dates on them! I looked at the DS-230 Fernanda received Dec 5 and it had an expiration date of May 31, 2004!

How funny about the expired forms. The forms I received from Ciudad Juarez, Mexico are also expired one of them expired on August 2004 and the other on May 2004.
