I called DOS yesterday after 64 days in Administrative Review. DOS operator said case never went to Washington, and also did not go to security check. I specifically asked abt security check. It's just in the US embassy in my country. My embassy uses the term Administrative Review not Admin Processing when I emailed them. Anyone with the same situation ?

Hello Mellow,

I think we may be in a similar situation, of course, it's only been two weeks since my mother's interview (I'm the petitioner) but they requested more documents (we submitted all the correct documents, she just asked for an additional things) and when I called DoS they told me that everything looked great and there was no issue that they could see, that it hasn't been sent to Washington. It's really frustrating to not know what's going! I hope you've heard something about your case! Good luck!

Hi Amman,

When was your mom's interview and when were the docs submitted ? Did you email the embassy? What's the status ? Our status is still the same after I called the embassy last Oct. 11, 2013. Pls post here any updates on your end. Thanks.

Hi Mellow,

My mother's interview was in Amman, Jordan on October 3rd, we submitted the documents October 8th and today, October 21st, they called told us to mail her passport. However, they didn't tell us whether her visa has been approved or not. Our status on the ceac.state.gov website still says administrative processing, but updated with today's date.

Any news on your end? Have you emailed the embassy?
