Hello,

I'm currently petitioned for Immigrant Visa under the Preference Category F2B - Unmarried Sons and Daughters of Perm Res. As of now, the visa application is still under process and I'm just waiting for new from NVC. I just found out that I'm pregnant for two (2) months now. May I ask if my interview will be denied since I'm currently pregnant? If approved, can I travel while I'm pregnant or do I have to wait until I give delivery? My priority date is April 2003 and I'm not sure when NVC will contact me again. Please, somebody assist me with my inquiries...

May I ask if my interview will be denied since I'm currently pregnant? No. As long as you can prove you're unmarried/single (CENOMAR), you're good to go.

If approved, can I travel while I'm pregnant or do I have to wait until I give delivery? It's all about the timing of the visa issuance. Some pregnant women are allowed to travel because they are not "high risk" so it really depends if your OB or the airline will allow you to travel.

My priority date is April 2003 and I'm not sure when NVC will contact me again. Please, somebody assist me with my inquiries...

hi guys this is off the topic but I was wondering should I file for my step daughter just after my wife gets her green card or should I apply after she receives citizenship and also would she be allowed to file as a k4 and be allowed to wait for her decision here in America can someone explain how the new laws of that kind work

If your wife is an LPR she can petition her daughter.. That's what I do when I have my GC I filed a petition for my daughter .

Good Luck!!!

Thanks for the feedback.

Are there some medical tests that I cannot take while pregnant? If so, will the U.S. embassy still issue my visa or will I have to wait until I give birth?

For more info regarding the medical, better call St Luke's Extension Clinic. http://www.slec.ph/us-visa-applicants.shtml

Thank you, I'm not sure though if I'll be able to meet all the medical exams since I'm pregnant so I'm still worried.
