Thanks everyone. I made it to Manila just fine, despite the pair of typhoons. It sure is leaving a lot of rain though, something I'm highly unaccustomed to at this time of year lol. We'e finalizing interview prep for the big day Wednesday. Excited, nervous, you name it. :)

You'll do great!! I was there for my fiance's interview last June. I highly recommend it. Although many say it doesn't matter if the petitioner is there or not, I humbly disagree. Our interview(s) went smooth as silk, and took very little time. The group of people I was sitting with seemed to have a harder time. They were approved I think, but it took longer at each window it seemed. Maybe when the CO's saw me, they thought, "Hey...he came all this way. Let's approve them and move on to the real cases". LOL

Good luck!!

I agree with you. I know for a fact I'll be more relaxed if my fiance was there with me during my interview. Besides, having him there makes the hours of waiting seem like minutes.

Yup for sure a great experience and one that I recommend as well, I really enjoyed the interview... spent more time chatting about stuff then answering questions. good.gif

Nope not necessary to be there but does, like you said, move things along very smoothly.... better than goose grease ... wink.png

Yes, it seemed to definitely help make the process go much smoother since I was there. They never asked to see any relationship proof (even pictures), since I was the standing in-person proof lol. Our interview went for a mere 2 minutes, after which we were approved. :) Thanks for all the support guys. Now we can spend the rest of my visit celebrating.

Haha, thanks. Yeah, all that hard labor the past 6 months for a mere 2 minutes in front of the US consular. But I wouldn't have wanted it any other way. That's great that you can be there with your fiance as well, as I'm sure it will go just as smoothly to as a result for you. Good luck. :)

Congratulations! Celebrate! Woo Hoo!! Our favorite thing we did to celebrate was to go to Bluewave on Magapagal Avenue in the evenings. Watch the live bands and eat drink with friends. Thursdays with Firtst Five Banda was our favorite.
