NOA2 08/19/13 CSC, still no case number. Is my case lost? Pls help

I got NOA2 August 19, 2013 under CSC but still no case number yet. my fiance calling NVC everyday but they said they haven't receive our case and wait for 8 weeks. ughh is that true?? Its already 33 days waiting for Manila Case Number. so frustrating.. PLS HELP

We are close to the date of approval Aug. 22, 2013 and no case number yet. Been calling NVC and replied to wait for 8 weeks. Also emailed them and still to wait for 8 weeks. Hoping next week for a positive response from NVC.

Nope not lost just slow! They are just backed up I think. Hopefully next week!!

April 06, 2013 - He went back to US
April 15, 2013 - I-129F sent to USCIS
April 17, 2013 - I-129F delivered
April 19, 2013 - NOA1
April 23, 2013 - Alien Registration Number was changed
June 17, 2013 - Second Visit
July 31,2013 - RFE
August 06, 2013 - Return to US
August 08, 2013 - RFE reply sent. ( next day delivery service)
August 09, 2013 - RFE response received
August 13, 2013- APPROVED!
12nn - Received an email from Representative Staff that our petition is approved already. ( w/ email from USCIS officer )
8pm - Received email confirmation about the approval & Online Status Updated.
August 14,2013- got my BC & Cenomar ( waited 5mins for BC & almost 1 1/2hr for Cenomar)
August 15, 2013 - got my NBI ( total processing time from step 1 to releasing 1 1/2hrs)
August 23,2013 - CFO Attended, Got GCC. Sticker to follow.
Sep 18, 2013 - Got MNL Case # via Phone & Paid Visa Fee @ BPI
Sept 23, 2013 - Medical PASSED - 1 Day Only

Sep 24, 2013 - Case status " READY"
Oct 07, 2013 - Interview - APPROVED
Oct 08,2013 - Status changed AP then ISSUED

Oct 10, 2013 - Status @ 2go site - HOLD for Pick up

Oct. 16, 2013 - US Entry @ LAX

Oct. 18, 2013 - Printed I-94

Oct. 29,2013 - Applied Marriage License & SSN

Yeah lol, I guess the flood of quick petition approvals from different service centers really overwhelmed them.

24 July approval - they finally admitted the file was missing on September 16 (54 days) and shipped out file. Now they suggest another 8 weeks for processing.

Don't despair yet. That is my job :(

Keep calling. our approval dte was Aug 16th and today Aug i called and they said they received it on Sept 16th and gave me a case #..... you should get you # very soon, keep praying.....

what service center are you? i am under csc.. they said, vsc and tsc are soo fast getting their MCN.. aah so frustrating. sad.png

Vermont transferred to Texas. If the "help" line is to be believed we will be waiting 110 days from approval to processing. I live in hope that something will happen sooner. It seems that the fact that USCIS lost it means the NVC will treat the file as if it were approved on September 16

Your file has probably shipped out from CSC by now. You might be able to call CSC and confirm shipment.

In our case NVC confirmed receiving and could give us case number 8 days after CSC shipped it.
