So, apparently USPS attempted to deliver our I-129F to Texas yesterday and no one was there to pick it up. So they "attempted to deliver your item at 10:48 AM on December 9, 2006 in MESQUITE, TX 75185 and a notice was left. A second delivery attempt will be made. If unsuccessful, we will hold it for five business days and then it will be returned to the sender. Information, if available, is updated every evening. Please check again later."

Has this happened to anyone before?? Are they just not open on Saturday??

Thanks,

Marina

It happens to everyone practically, if you require a signature. Uscis picks up the mail very early, before the days deliveries, so it will be picked up next business day.

It also happened to us. I had the wrong P.O. number too so I was really worried. But I got an email at 5 a.m. on Monday saying my petition was delivered to TSC. If you check out my signature here you can see how long it took from when the I-129F was mailed to when we received our NOA1 from California. I hope that helps you estimate how long it will be for you.

No worries.

Don't sweat it. It is normal. I think we all have had the same initial "panic" when we started this process and received that response! I can remember being out of my mind with anger when I received that message in June this year! Relax, everything is OK! Believe us, you'll be laughing at your self and your blood pressure will drop in a couple days!

Thanks everyone! The thing that really pissed me off about it was that USPS said it was overnight delivery, which should have gotten it there by 12:30 on friday. I guess that means if they check their mail early in the morning it would be Monday before they get it....but I figured that would mean that USPS would tell me it was delivered at least! Oh well, it'll get there!

Thanks again!
