Hi Everybody!

I received my Packet 3 in the mail today! goofy.gif

But! I have a question: blush.png

In this Packet 3, on the Interview Preparation Instructions for Immigrant Visa Applicants sheet, it is said:

Documents included in this packet include:

1. Form DS230 Part 1

2. From DS2001

3. Photo Information sheet

4.French Police Record Information sheet

5. Copy Of the Approved I-129Fpetition.

What is this supposed to be? Is it normal or is it a missing document?unsure.png

Thank you so much in advance for answering me!

I went through London, so of course mine was worded differently, but it sounds to me like they are talking about the NOA2 Approval form for the I-129F which should have been sent to the petitioner. I gave mine to my fiance along with the I-134 forms and documentation.

Thank you very much for your answer UK-USA-K1,

Well, my fiancé did gave me the NOA2 Approval form by paper mail.

Was a copy of your NOA2 Approval was provided in your Packet 3 by your Embassy ?

This is what is written in the Visa Journey - Paris - France - Embassy Info about what is in the Packet 3:

Interview preparation Instructions (checklist of documents needed at the embassy appointment, see part "Other Forms?")
DS-2001 Notification of Applicant Readiness (to send back ONLY when you have all the documents in the checklist ready)
DS-230 Part I
DS-156 (x2) (not physically in P3 because to be filled on-line)
DS-156K (last paragraph is the sworn statement, to be signed with the CO before the interview)
DS-157
I-134 to be filled out by the US citizen (not physically in P3, available here: http://www.uscis.gov/files/form/i-134.pdf)
Photo Information Sheet (similar to http://travel.state.gov/visa/visaphotoreq/visaphotoreq_5334.html)

In the Packet 3 I received today, on the Interview Preparation Instructions for Immigrant Visa Applicants sheet, it is said:

Documents included in this packet include:

1. Form DS230 Part 1

2. From DS2001

3. Photo Information sheet

4.French Police Record Information sheet

5. Copy Of the Approved I-129Fpetition.

6. Pamphlet

I am confused. If I understand well: I am not supposed to get a copy of NOA2 in my Packet 3?

Since it is written on the instructions sheet I received, I am kind of lost.

In this Visa process, we all over worry about papers, proofs and documents.

I have it (the NOA2) provided by my fiancé. This Interview preparation instructions made me thought I would have received it in the Packet 3.

I think it will not be a big problem for the next steps.

Anybody dealing with Paris Embassy can reassure me?

No, in London all they send you is a letter instructing you to go to the website and download forms. They had my I-129F already at the embassy.

Hopefully someone who's gone through paris can give you a specific reply to help ease your mind. I know how it feels
