Hey there,

Here i am about to move to the sttes and getting my vaccination record ready...

Ive been reading about the requirements but honestly they are pretty confusing... So im going a lil bit crazy!!!

Thinking it was going to be required, one month ago ive started to take the two first shots of the hepatits b (is conposed by 3 shots and the next one would have to be in like 6 months)...

At the same time, after checking CDC flowchart I saw that Hepatits B is not required (if u havent taking it before) if you are 18 years or older...

So what do i do???? What do i believe??? Anybody from Florida or somewhere else can give me info about their past experience?? Or is it anybody goig through the same??

I think the only ones required for my age: 27 are:

Tetanus

MMR

And maybe Influenza

Helpppp

My wife adjusted from K1, recently got her green card, and is from Spain. This is what we came up with regarding vaccinations based on the CDC info.

Hepatitis A - not needed, only < 7
Hepatitis B - not needed, only < 18
Influenza - I think so
Influenza type b (Hib) - not needed, only for 6 mo - 18 yr and > 50
Measles - Yes
Meningococcal - not needed, only for 11 - 18 yrs old
Mumps - Yes
Pneumococcal - not needed, only for < 6, > 65
Pertussis - not needed, only for < 6
Polio - not needed, only for < 18
Rotavirus - not needed , only for < 8 months
Rubella - Yes
Tetanus and diphtheria toxoids - Yes
Varicella - Yes, if haven't had varicella
In summary, Influenza (depends on the time of year, you'd have to get it once you're in the states), MMR, tetanus & diptheria (if you haven't had a booster recently), and varicella (if you've never had it before).
My wife got what she needed before she left Spain except for influenza which she got once she was here since she arrived during flu season.
Good luck.
