For months now the CSC processing date for the following category has not changed:

I-130

Petition for Alien Relative

Permanent resident filling for a spouse or child under 21

November 15, 2011

I have a priority date of 7/5/2012 which CSC would have hit by now if they had continued to process applications at the same rate they were when we filed. But now for quite a few months this category has not moved (not even 1 day).

Meanwhile, NVC has gone current with the F2A visa category. Is there any way to get some insight as to when CSC will start processing again or to know what the big hold-up is?

Hello CalvHob,

I see the discrepancy between CSC and Vermont center (5months for processing F2A).

I saw this happened before around 2002 where cases for CR1 took more than 2 years to be touched. Vermont center at the same time took 7 months.

There is not much you can do.

Hope they will start moving your case soon.

Timeline:

04/05/04 : K1 NSC

08/03/04 : Case approved

10/26/04 : Visa approved

12/09/04 : Fiancee arrives in the US.

12/28/04 : Married in Chicago.

2/25/05 : file AOS and EAD to

3/25/05 : NOAs for both

4/2/05 : fingers print

4/23/05 : received EAD card

7/6/05: NOA for interview in October 2005.

That site is not accurate. For F2A, Aug 2013 filers are already being approved.

Contact your congressman ASAP. Mine took over a year for NOA2. We contacted our congressman and was approved after a few days.

Visa Journey is amazing.

Last night before going to bed I posted here about my case that has not been touched and is over 1 year behind normal processing schedule.

This morning I get up and there is an email from USCIS:

Application Type: I130 , IMMIGRANT PETITION FOR RELATIVE, FIANCE(E), OR ORPHAN

Your Case Status: Request for Evidence

Annoying that it is an RFE but one would almost think that the post to Visa Journey caused USCIS to make a move.....
