Good Morning all

Amera, Glad to hear that everything is well with the baby...I admire you big time ...I am so struggling with cooking...Maybe one day I will learn...Stay well and try to get some sleep...

As for us we just got back from the movies... where we saw the "Blood Diamond" - great picture...powerful images and a strong message...Loved it...then we walked to the Rockefeller Center to take a look at the Christmas tree but to our disappointment it wasn't lit....well some other time...

I hope that all will have a great day.

Dorothy

Charles, it isn't right that you start the Sunday thread so early!!! :P . . . It is too early when most of the ppl are still in Saturday (considering that probably only ppl in the States are reading), so it should have been called "pre-Sunday" :innocent:

And the reason no one responds is because most of us are asleep . . . . :dead:

Anywho. . . . . on to less important business . . . it looks like we won't see the Sun today . . . so not really Sunday . . . how about Gloomday . . . because that is how I feel right now :crying: .

And what was the low flying jet that just went across Dallas? It was soooooooooo close that it even scared the cats!! Time to turn on the morning news and make my coffee!!

Later!!

Sunday morning and I wake up to this???

'Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways - Chardonnay in one hand - chocolate in the other - body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming 'WOO HOO, What a Ride'

Allah tries his chosen people through many hardships, but those who persevere through adversity, surrendering themselves before the will of Allah, shall be blessed with a superb reward.

-The Prophet Muhammad (SAW), as reported by Anas bin Malik

A time will come when the sky is torn apart; when the stars scatter, and the ocean drains away; and when the graves are tossed about, and laid open. At that time every man will be told what he has done, and what he has failed to do; and every woman will be told what she has done, and what she has failed to do.

-Qur'an, Al-Infitar, Surah 82:1-5
