May 17,2010 - Citizenship Test - Minneapolis, MN

July 16, 2010- Retest (writing portion)

October 13, 2010 - Oath Ceremony

Yeah it's still 10:30 here on Saturday.

And I love hearing the rain while I'm inside the house.

However driving around in it in the dark like I did earlier tonight, in an area I'm not familiar with, sucks. :P

But, happy Sunday to all those Sundians out there.

There is sumo wrestling on ESPN right now. I don't know what I was thinking but my son and I have been sitting here laughing our patooties off at these guys. But honestly it's so disgusting. I don't understand it. Gain weight so you weigh close to half a ton and then wrestle mostly naked with other men.

actually, the largest ones range between 500-600 pounds, just over a quarter ton. half a ton would be 1000 pounds.

Akebono was one of the tallest sumo wrestlers ever, at 203 cm (6ft 8in) tall, and also one of the heaviest with a fighting weight around 235 kg (517 lb). (wikipedia). another source listed him as once being 598.

Yum sumo wrestling lol. I'm watching Iron Chef America because I can't sleep at all. The baby is holding up lol uncomfortable for me and hence why I'm awake at almost 2am. I did make a list of meals for the week so that we can go shopping tomorrow to get some things. I also went through the Christmas list to make sure I got everyone covered. I just have a few gifts to finish now and I'm all done! Tomorrow we're going to finish shopping hopefully and then I can be happy it's over with. I have a few gifts that I am making (Moroccan preserved lemons and spiced olives and chocolate truffles) so those I have a little bit of time left to do. Maggie - what are you going to try next? I've gotten Moroccan cooking almost to a science :). (I have a husband who thinks Moroccan food is the only kind of food in the world so we eat it a lot....I had to learn or I would gag eating the same thing!) I think I might try to doze off here on the couch for a bit - we'll see how it goes.
