Waiting to skip ROC and get 10 yr GC due to over 2 year while pending AOS
AOS APPROVED Oct. 4, 2017 * Green card in hand Oct 13, 2017 !!!!!

First K1 denied after 16 month of AP. Refiled. We are a couple since 2009. Not a sprint but a matter of endurance.

members posting their waiting times and approvals. There is no 20 months wait for USCIS approval in any service center.

Here is a link for September filers and you can commiserate with all the others waiting. Keep in mind that many do not understand the

waiting times either and are just learning and figuring it all out while they swim in the sea of the process.

There are others who figure it out quickly by doing research and will share.

Service centers change processing times due to backlogs like people change their shirts and then there is the matter of transfers.

The only thing consistent about the processing times for a particular service center is its inconsistency.

7-8 months approval wait time does NOT include your NVC time. It is straight up for NOA2. Don't freak out if it drags out to 9 months but
it won't be 20 I guarantee it.

I am under the impression that some still get adjudicated at NBC and some get transferred to the local field offices.

A few petitioners have been asked for interviews at local filed offices.

I have also recently seen a few 5-6 months but they are the few lucky ones and not the norm.

My bad I didn't put all the I-130 go through. But since May they are all a sittin at NBC dang shame. But yes prior it was off to the local offices some stayed at NBC (don't know who you have to pay off to stay there). Goodness.
