My NOA2 approval was 8-1-2013 and I'm still waiting for my NVC#.

I call every day but they won't even lift a finger until I hit 8 weeks and then maybe after that I can get 2nd tier support at USCIS.

Sorry about your wait, but it may be a while.

You may be approved sooner, be patient.

Yes...I totally feel what you're going through.

We received our NOA2 in 74 days and I'm now waiting 55 days for the transfer to NVC...that's driving us crazy. But you're not alone.

They approved a lot of apps quickly, but now they are slow in transferring. Probably because they have no time frame to work under now. Who knows?

I hope yours comes very soon. Good luck. :)

I talked to NVC and they said they didn't even have my petition. So I called uscis and they said they hadn't sent it out yet. I asked several times but she didn't say why they are sitting on (hundreds or more of) these. I wonder if they aren't trying to fill up a trailer full of boxes of petitions or something.

NVC has a lot of new staff now and should be pretty swift if California will get off their butts and send our #######.

NOA2 - 08/21/2013 - NVC says not received. Called DoS and same response. Called USCIS and tried to make sure it was sent and make sure sent to right place, but no luck on that. Apparently the answering operators have limited sight ability on cases.

Anyone tried to get with a level 2 person at USCIS and see what the hold up is? Its kinda BS. I see people with similar timeline as mine already have interviews. The NOA2 only has a few months before expiring. Anyone tried with a Senator? Also, I realize I made a mistake on my G-325A. I put down the wrong divorce year for previous wife. I already sent my fiance an updated G-325A with a Supplemental explaining the mistake. Anything else I should do?

Yes, I contacted my US Senator (Mark Kirk, R-Ill) when my USCIS package was not at the NVC after 30days of the NOA2 approval date. His office was a great help, after 2 days they found my petition sitting in the local field office and were told that NVC would have it in 2 weeks. NVC had it one week later.

No, I haven't. I'll probably call in the morning, but the gal at CSC said this week the NVC should have our stuff (probably everyone from 8-16 to 8-30 sent at the same time).

I'm getting a bit irritated

So.. CSC compiles the approvals and send them out every 15 days? They should appear on that hoarders show dry.png
