  1. 1. What will you do on Oct 1 2013 to express your opposition to the death panels that begin operating that day?

    • I will call in to my favorite talk radio show. I will ask if I'm allowed to curse and they'll say no but I'll do it anyway because I'll just be so damn angry!

    • I will post about it on VJ. You all will get to read how angry I am.

    • I will send a lot of faxes to a lot of people on Capitol Hill. I have no doubt they will read each and every one with the seriousness they deserve.

    • I am a terrorist and I will do some terrorizing. (This poll is public, if you pick this option, you are probably too stupid to live.)

    • I love death panels. You can't go to heaven if you don't die first.

The answer is to kill parents? They Lyle and Erik Menendez were just doing their part. Free them now!

The modern conservative is engaged in one of man's oldest exercises in moral philosophy; that is, the search for a superior moral justification for selfishness.

I've been watching the open speeches this evening on c-span - The death-panel generalists seem to lacking in votes. I do write 'seem', so keep that in mind.

It'll be a cr@p-shoot, regardless. Let's see which walls it sticks on.

No, I just watched that episode in the last day or two. Streampix has all those old series on demand. I am waiting to Babylon 5 to come around again:

Did they ever complete that series? It seems like they started getting really weird at the end, and left us hanging. The prequel to BSG - "Caprica" ended after a year as well, without finishing the story.

Wow, a b5 nerd. Likely one of the rarest of all nerds these days. But, I'm with you man. Love the series. That show was soooo ahead of its time and had the best writing of any scifi show.

I'll admit, I like my corn beef sandwiches with spicy mustard. Doesn't bother me one bit.

I heard straczynski did the original screen play to wwz, before they retooled it and slopped it out to the masses

If B5 nerds are rare, what does that make Farscape nerds?

With wimpy sidekick Bruce Boxlietner in the lead role, it took me a while to get into the series, but the writing was superb, and I really got into the mythoi behind the various species.
