Overland Park Processing

I believe OP was talking about the NOA1.. Filers May and after were sent to Overland Park. April and before were sent to MSC. Not all files got transfererd. I am an April filer and my file is still at NBC in Missouri. I had that confirmed by my local congressional office ( 3 times)

My assumption is that we ( april and earlier) will stay at the NBC in Missouri and that they plan on catching up with the files they already have. Division 8 in Kansas will start processing May and later.

ONLY my assumption.

This Immigration system is broken. It gets more annoying by the day watching Zero approvals come through here even though VJ only represents a tiny percentage of filers. But I will stick around here because it does get exciting and it is comforting when you start to see the approvals come through.

yup yup..... and that is a small handful of files

I filed in June (PD June 10 2013). My file is at the NBC/MSC and NOT at Kansas Facility.

WHY O' WHYYYY??????

Any in

Have you checked the address on the NOA1? Seems unusual that it would not be Overland Park.

I agree. Check your hard copy again.

Both centers have the same, MSC, code.

Although, one September filer's petition went to CSC.. That was weird too.

How do you know which cases were approved? Where did you get those case numbers from?

An educated guess would be: take your number and check numbers around in Case Status page on USCIS (it tells stage, e.g. 'post decision activity'). But this method doesn't really work since you don't know if they were expedited, both abroad and such.

I'm the beneficiary.

Don't have a timeline? Don't know how to get started with it? Do it for the statistics sake: VJ video guide

Want to know what's happening with your case? Here's the USCIS tracking page (get an account and see if the case's been 'touched'!). Don't get your hopes up though, some cases never even appear there despite being successfully processed.

Ok so now I feel kinda dumb.

My NOA1 does indicate, at the bottom left corner, the Overland Park, KS 66225

I am now extremely angry at the USCIS "hell"-line supervisors, who told me TWICE that my file was at the Missouri Service Center.

What the F. !!!!

How can we possibly contact this forsaken Service Center?

Limbo is the word my friends..

Well actually, I believe you can (try, at least).

Once I semi-inadvertedly wrote an email to the Vermont Service Center (I was in the process of requesting my case to be expedited), and an officer sent me this :

"

Case MSC139130XXXX is located at the Immigration office whose address appears below. Please address your inquiry to:

U.S. Citizenship & Immigration Services

National Benefits Center

PO Box 648005

Lees Summit MO 64064

"

So I also wrote a letter to that adress (but they never replied...).

My point is, why would the officer send me this adress if one cannot contact the Service Center?

And by the way, the adress on my NOA1 does indicate the Overland Park, KS adress...

So... #######?

Good week to you all
