my wife won with diversity lottery for 2014

and we are planning to move to the US after getting our visas

my question is : after getting the green cards I am planning to keep my family in the US and go back to my work aboard with a scheduled trips to US every 6 months

is that will make my green card at risk ???

thanks

Yes a green card is for living in the US and failure to reside ( spend most of your time ) in the US means they could decide that you are not living in the US. Having your family here might be an arguement against pulling it when you try to re enter .

This will not be over quickly. You will not enjoy this.

Yes that will be a problem. Doing it once will be ok, maybe twice, but the longer you do it the more chances they'll pull your greencard.
