I haven't posted on here yet, but I think this deserves a post!

Our status just changed online and my K1 petition is APPROVED!!!! :dance: I thought it would take a lot longer, but it's only been a little over two months (CSC)! I got used to waiting, now we have to get working on the rest of the paperwork, etc....

Quick question to anyone who has received a NOA2... how many days does it usually take to receive the notice in the mail after it's been updated online? Does the NVC contact us by letter?

September 12th, 2006 - Sent in I29F to California Service Center

September 23rd, 2006 - NOA1 Received

December 6th, 2006 - NOA2 Online - APPROVED

January 31st @ 7:30 AM - Interview APPROVED

June 7th, 2007 - Sent in AOS, EAD, and AP Applications

June 15th, 2007 - NOA1 for AOS, EAD and AP

July 14th, 2007 - Biometrics Apointment

August 17th, 2007 - EAD and AP APPROVED

September 18th, 2007 @ 9:03AM - AOS Interview APPROVED

July 29th, 2009 - Sent in I-751 -Lifting of Conditions

July 31st, 2009 NOA

August 29, 2009 @ 12:00P - Biometrics Appointment

I would say in about a week you should receive the NOA in the mail--however mail is traditionally slow in December due to the extra volume. And congratulations on your approval, and welcome to posting in the forums!

Congratulations on your NOA2! My 129F didn't take long to reach NVC and to be sent to the NL Embassy, so I wish you luck! You will receive a letter from NVC with your new case number when they sent your petition to the Embassy.

And, what was approved was your 129F, not the K-1 yet ;) The K-1 is approved on the interview @ d'Embassy.

May 29, 2007... GREEN CARD ARRIVES.. and email from CRIS approval notice sent (Day 75)

Sept 25, 2008... Moved to the UK

Feb 24, 2009... Mailed I-751 to CSC from UK

December 30, 2009... Approval notice!!

Jan 9, 2010... 10 year GREEN CARD arrives.

May 31, 2012... Express Mailed N-400 application to the Nebraska Service Center for military spouses filing overseas

Jun 11, 2012... NOA date and Cheque cashed Day 11

Jun 28, 2012... Placed in line for interview scheduling Day 28

Jul 20, 2012... Email from USCIS London for info to schedule interview Day 50

Sep 1, 2012... Moved back to the USA

Sep 12, 2012... Email from USCIS London scheduled for interview/oath Sept 28th in the UK(will be day 120)

Nov 26, 2012... Had submitted change of addresses. Notification that I have again been scheduled for interview Day 179

Dec 1, 2012... Letter arrived Day 184 with new interview date Jan 4, 2013 (Will be day 218)

I got the email from the USCIS first and then printed out a copy. It took around a week to get it in the mail. However, it took around another month to make it through the NVC and consulate before we got packet three. I'd highly recommend taking a look to see if the consulate where the interview will take place has guidelines on requirements for packet 3. In our case, it would have been VERY helpful to get some advance notice of the requirements - beyond the consulate's verbal DS230, DS156 and more money.

9/15 Recieved and signed for by "Freeman" at NSC

9/19 NOA1 CSC Recieved

9/25 Notice date Check cashed 9/25

9/28 I Recieved NOA1(I-797C) in the mail

12/5 NOA2 12/6 but Approved on 12/5 touch

12/9 Received NOA2(I-797) by snail mail

12/15 NVC has received it..Case # issued...

12/19 NVC shipped to Romania

12/22 Romanian Embassy has received an email from NVC that my Petition is on it's way...

12/29 Packet 3 sent to Veronica

1/12 2007 Packet 3 received Dang Holidays..
