Hi just had my interview last Sept 11, 2013. I received an email subject 221G, The USEM is requiring me to present Evidence of Current sustainable Income and Petitioner 2013 total Income. It was because my fiance just started his new job this June 2013 so we just presented a coply of his paystubs for his new job and also his latest income tax return for his self employed but a little low, so we didnt meet an income requirement. Anyone there that can give us input. Is there anybody there that can relate with my case? Thank you.

Hi,

USCIS has processed your application form, USCIS is requesting for Informatiom (RFE). You show the documents showing your income proof. You can speak to an immigration lawyer to get an adivice.

The OP just had her K-1 visa interview at the U.S. Embassy Manila and received a 221g from the Embassy. The USCIS does not interview K-1 visa applicants and does not send out RFEs for income.

@OP...In addition to Penguin's suggestion, I suggest that you submit proof of your fiance's 2013 income from his self employment.

A letter from his employer stating when hired, his yearly income and so forth.
