Interview in Bangladesh embassy about AP

 Share

Just wanted to share what I learned. I have a friend inside embassy, according to him around 70% of people get AP from Dhaka embassy every month. It depends on the CO there is no specific rules or regulations for AP but they have been advised frequently to check everyone applying as immigrant even if they have slightest doubts no matter how small it seems during interview.

Anyone else know anything about this?

Another question for people who had interview in Dhaka consulate. Do I have to fill out any forms before interview on the interview date? If so where can I find it? I want to prepare myself..

Thanks for your help, hope you all a smooth immigration journeygood.gif

Thanks for the info. Can you ask your friend in the embassy what's happening in administrative review (not administrative processing) when the case did not go to DOS (Washington) and only stayed in the embassy for further admin review. And also ask how long it usually takes to finish this admin review. This is the status of my case coz I called DOS yesterday and they told me my case never went to Washington.

That's a Good info, but a big mystery remains what actually they do and dig during the AP period and why there is no timeline!! What is the average AP period for Bangladeshi's !!

There is no form required at the consulate before your interview. You just have to submit them the first page of your interview letter and wait till they call your name to the windows/doors. At the first call, they will take your finger prints and passport and return your original docs and other staffs, and final call will be your real interview with the CO.

If you are lucky, you will get a white token instructing to collect the passport next day by 2pm and If you fall into AP, you will hear some sweet words saying no worries/ Its just a process / we will call you soon bla bla and return home with a blue paper.
