Good day VJers. Two quick question about CFO:

01. Is it okay if my Fiancee do the CFO seminar after the medical and before the interview at USEM?

02. Will I be allowed to go with her for the seminar?

Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Yes and yes

Thank you!

yes she can do that but for me its not advisable since you still have to go back again... you can go/attend to the seminar before visa is issued but they wont give you the certificate or the sticker since you dont have the visa yet...

Thanks for the input.

I thought they will give you a certificate after the seminar even if you're not done with the interview? And also, I believe she don't have to go back because she can get the sticker from the CFO at NAIA? Anybody can confirm this?

You can get it at NAIA before you fly, but it is recommended that you call ahead and make sure an agent will be there on the day she flies.

Do they have a dress code at the CFO? I wasn't planning on bringing any slacks or anything, but I know if I want to extend my visa I have to.

Anyone know about that?

You have to what?

I'd dress just like you did for interview or a job application. Neat, but no need for a business suit.

Nope, they will give you a certificate if you attend before you have your visa. Wrong information

Yes, she can have it before the interview but as most of them says, she will not have the sticker yet and have to go back after she gets her visa.

Yes, you can come with her but be prepared to wait for her outside the CFO building... I dont think you will be allowed to go with her in the seminar and one on one interview...I am not sure though... But during my CFO I've never seen a couple inside the building (fiance/spouse visa) and mostly if they are with their partners their partners stay outside... Well, can somebody confirm this? Just saying.., :)

1) YES (and you can attend the interview at USEM)

2) NO (psst.. Dave, seminar not interview ;) ) You can go to CFO but you will not be allowed in.
