hey Vj family, well this is my concern and thanks if you can help..... i met my fiance on line in 2010 and he filed me a fiance visa in 2011, during the initial process we got misunderstandings and cancelled the petition.. while i was going through that pain my sister who is a nurse in the US offered to sponsor me on a students visa, i applied twice and i was denied and the reason was i had no strong ties in my home country so they were not sure of my return.... in the f1 forms that i filled there was a part asking if anyone has ever filed on my behalf and of course i had to say yes, at the interview of f1 that was the very question asked they asked me what happened and i told them we separated... i reconciled with my fiance last year in September and he was here to see visit me on the 27th of March to the 11th of April.. he went back and filed a fiance visa again, at this point we are approved and still waiting for our case number form the NVC which may come in very soon.. so now my question is, will those denials affect my k1 since he wasn't the one sponsoring me? will my saying we separated affect it? does his coming back to my country bring me any chance? i pray i don't raise any red flags..... thanks again in advance for your help... God bless you all

There may be a slight concern that you are trying to get into the US any way you can, with four visa apps in 2 years, and they will also wonder whether your relationship with the fiance is solid this time. The best thing to do is to prepare with lots of bonafide evidence. For example, has he only visited you the once, in April this year? Have him visit at least one more time, ideally twice. Has his family met you and you his? Do they approve?
