Hi everyone , I want to thank God for granting my prayers and also I want to thank my VJ family for helping us through this process and for being patience. I will be asking help as I prepare all the papers needed. smile.png

Can anyone tell me where I can check my status online if the NVC receive our case how can I track it? Will they send an email to my fiancé?

See you in my next thread hehehehe.. Thank you all smile.png

Not sure if you can track the petition between USCIS and NVC using the CEAC website (link in my link below). NVC will send a letter to the petitioner once the file has shipped to Manila which will contain the MNL #. I would suggest emailing NVC to request the MNL # , it's a little quicker for knowing when your file ships from NVC. Of course call NVC in a few weeks... or a little longer, NVC is really slow right now.

Aw okay so I guess we will just wait after two weeks or three before calling NVC, for now I am planning to attend CFO after paying the visa application fee. I saw some thread that their fiancée paid the visa app fee without MNL#, and CFO wouldn't require visa app receipt and tax return, correct? Hope so hehehe... But I will wait for my fiancé's tax return etc before attending CFO. But I'm pretty sure thy wouldn't require visa app fee and tax stuffs... :) Edited by Ron and Jen

You can do CFO any time, don't need MNL or receipts, etc. ... those are required by the embassy.

Yes you can pay the visa fee without the MNL #, you only need the deposit slip from the embassy website and your passport.

Nothing has changed regarding the DS forms for the K-1. Follow the Embassy Instructions Letter and you will be fine.

I suppose you could, isn't something I would do. Too many things to cause delays still; NVC has been very slow as of late, and the file still has to get from USCIS to NVC.
