hi,

u should file for AOS asap after the wedding, but as u can see by my timeline...we filed for aos 6 months after the actual wedding.

Just don't wait too long and u are good=)

im not sure, but i have seen ppl on here that waited over a year to apply for aos- i dont think there is a set max of days/years........question: why do u even want to wait?

a lot of people wish to get over with this procedure asap

Please anyone who is reading this correct me if I am wrong-

as far as I understand the co sponsor needs to provide tax returns for the most recent tax year...and I don't know how it works if he/she just got that job...

I believe that the government wants to see that the co sponsor is in a stable position, so he/she can sponsor you.

Bottom line is, u guys need to meet the poverty line...

As long as u do that...u should be fine

Maybe someone else will know more about this topic since I did not require a co sponsor I am not too familiar with this situation!

the co-sponsor i need for aos temp left work for personal reasons he has a hefty bank acct and iras and owns a home but will soon return to work, so if the co-sponsor has only been working for a few months when i file aos im sure the bank acct. and ira and assets would make up for it>? if that makes sense
