DS-157 Help in the Philippines...

Does my fiance' have to fill out the DS-157 in the Philippines for her interview even if she is a female? This seems to be a source of confusion if she needs this filled out...and weather it needs validation from the Bank of Philippines?? Can anyone clear up this once and for all?? i thought it was only if you are male.. Thank you for the help.

Yes, she has to fill that out, as well as the DS-156, the DS-156K, and the DS-230 part 1. I'm confused as to why you think the DS-157 is only for males? And why BPI has to "validate" it? They don't.

For some embassies, the DS 157 should only be completed by men in a certain age range. Argentina is one of those embassies. That's probably why the OP is asking.

Yes she does, she has to complete all the DS forms as noted in the embassy instructions letter. This is a link to the embassy instructions letter (and more) in the link below this post. Click the link... lots of information.

Bank does not validate any DS forms.
