could always call the DoS Hotline, get a Human, and inquire for casefile status. It's a USA office, call when they are open.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !

We have a similar situation. They told him he was approved, kept his passport and said his visa would be issued in 2 days to 2 weeks. Now it's been more than two weeks and we just learned we are in administrative processing. I am really regretting letting my parents plan a $25000 wedding. Because we aren't going to make it.

wow.. its crazy cz they have been told us we were approved but then we're still goin to wait for many days or weeks or may take a month or so...w/o any exact date. like mine. my fiance's leave got approved..., and if we couldnt make it on time he would never be able to pull out another leave til next year and proly my visa was expired then. And I was wondering, they actually keep on updating my status but still on "READY"..like now as of 19 Sept 2013.. my status are same like I was gonna go thru for an interview..even I was done w/ it already and has been approved.

I knw tht feeling. cz like us actually we've waited for almost 11mnths to get approved and then now we still have to wait patiently to get my visa on hand. i dunno why this is all happening.and who knows.?!! even agents cant tell us neither the exact dates or reason why this process is taking so long. but atleast youve seen your status are changing unlike mine wc is frozen on its ...READY stats......
