Thats not the angle. The angle being that somehow AR15s are better for mass murders and not good for home defense and that congress should move to restrict AR 15s.

Based on the recent amount of mass murders carried out with AR15's compared to shotguns, that rings true, no? AR15's are the weapon of choice for these nutcases. This guy even tried to purchase one, but couldn't. What amazes me is that the VA law that states he couldn't buy the AR15 because he was from out of state, doesn't hold true for all gun purchases. That's nuts.

I really don't think the type of gun used should be the focus here anyway. The focus needs to be put on the easy access of guns for anyone that wants one.

Frankly I don't even understand that law. I thought the ATF already restricts out of state purchases for ALL firearms without an FFL.

Who's celebrating this? Not anyone. It's back to how did this happen and what steps in the laws failed. In this case they all did.
