That is just proof of how effective the 3rd Amendment has been and still is. The government is afraid to quarter troop in citizens homes because of this amendment .

I replied to your complaint about having to pay for our troops housing whether on base or off. I am not going to begrudge having to pay for soldiers housing. To me adequate housing is any housing that would not require our troops to live in tents.

They need their own apartments?

I have no problem providing apartments for soldiers that have families.
