Congrats Mike H., I'm trying to figure out how to add approvals for I824, I think I just might make it red, and then add the date it actually gets to the NVC.

I filed K-3, but I want to go CR-1 if I can beat the fee increases in Oct. I got both I-129F and I-130 e-mail approvals 3/7/07. the NOA-2's arrived on 3/9/07, they were dated 3/1/07. I filed the I-824 3/9/07. Please add me to the I-824 timeline. I was wondering about the other timelines, I would like to follow my K-3 and my CR-1is that possible, or should I just do the K-3 timeline and this I-824 timeline? thanks, Mike & Zhen

I thought that I would start a new thread since many of us have both I129F and I130, and aren't sure how or when the USCIS will be applying its new policy. I suppose petitions approved after 10/23 only would make sense, as that's when the policy was implemented.

Hopefully this will help us see what the USCIS is doing, and whether we can actually rely on what our NOA2's say. And whether or not we need to file the I824. Once people start having to file the I824, maybe we can include that too to see how long that takes.

Should I also include whether each person has an approved I129F?

I'll add more people later, since I'm working off of the I130 timeline, and not everyone's signature indicates whether they are pursuing both. Let me know if you want to be added, or if you know how to format, feel free to add yourself :)

hello, is this the best thread to follow the new trail of I-824's? I have filed mine at the CSC, and I have been told, contrary to what Mike H. has said was his experience at the VSC, that there is no approval for the I-824! That the receipt notice was all I would receive, and that my I-130 would be forwarded within a week or two of the receipt of the I-824. I wish there were more people with the I-824, and a little more history so we would know what is going on! If anyone has any experience with the I-824 used to forward the I-130, we would appreciate a little dissemination. thanks, I hope, that we will all find that this new process is really not as slow as it started out

My I-130 was approved on March 8th but my I-129F is still pending over at CSC. I called the NVC on Wednesday and they have my I-130 with a case number assigned to it already. So I guess they are sending over the I-130's in favor of holding them. I was unaware of form I-824 at the time of filing.

Hi there,

MY I-824 was sent back in the first week of January. It was touched once in February, and my I-130 has yet to be forwarded to the NVC.

When I called the NVC they still to this date do not have the I-130. SO I don't think that it just automatically gets forwarded as you think.

I could be wrong, but so far, there has been no movement in my case.
