Hi,

My name is Marta I have a big concerened about issuing my papers. I don't know what papers to file

PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Here is my case:

I entered USA on F-1 student visa.

I am enroled as a full time student at the University in Chicago

I got married to American Citizen

What should I file for?

K-3 or Adjustment of status

Since I am a full time student will I have to live the country ( because of filinf K-3)

Please help!!!!!!!!!!!

You would file adjustment of status and you DO NOT have to leave the country

If you file a K-3, you would have to at some point leave and go to an interview in your home country - you can apply to adjust status (and then you won't have to leave).

02/09/2005-------Sent in request to Congressional office for assistance with expediting EAD.

02/13/2007 -------- EAD Approved!

02/26/2007 - ------EAD received

Removal of Conditions:

05/12/2009 -- Overnighted application by USPS express mail (VSC).

05/14/2009 -- Green Card expired.

05/23/2009 --- Check cleared bank.

05/26/2009 -- Received NOA (NOA date May 15, 2009, guess they aren't deporting me).

05/29/2009- Biometrics Notice date

06/01/2009- Received Biometrics Letter

06/18/2009 - Biometrics

09/23/2009 - date of decision to approve (letter received), just waiting for card. No online updates whatsoever.

Do AOS, K-3 would require you to leave the country, AOS allows to stay in country.
