Request for evidence, again -.-'

I'm adjusting from a K1 visa. Applied for AOS in February and got a RFE from the NBC a couple of months after that, to which I promptly replied (they requested the English translation of my birth certificate, that I had already submitted in multilingual form).

Today I got a letter from my local office. It asks for proof of shared life with my spouse, and for my vaccination record (the guy who filled it out in Naples only indicated that my vaccination record was completed, without bothering making a notation in every single vaccination field). I have 30 days to reply.

Does anyone know what will happen after I reply with the evidence they want? The letter doesn't mention an interview. Can't wait for this process to be finally over!

Thanks a lot smile.png

Wow. I am really sorry. I remember your other thread about that silly RFE for your international birth certificate. While I cannot help you with an answer, I do hope you will get your GC soon! We all have been waiting for way too long already. Good luck! :)

Thank you so much, this whole process is really wearing me out and getting some sympathy is great... I sure hope you get yours soon too.

Since I got a RFE that includes proof of shared life with my husband, I'm wondering if it could mean that they'll just issue my GC if they like whatever I submit. As far as I knew, people are generally asked to take that sort of evidence to their interview, but the letter I got doesn't mention one. Well, I guess I'll find out.

Good luck to us all :)
