It's normally 2 weeks or so. Just yesterday, someone got their visa in 3 days. Hope that happens for you! (but don't hold your breath... it's the PI government we are dealing with here!)

I hope it wont take 4 weeks. Really hope not. The friend of my older sis who had her interview last Sept. 11, her status is now ISSUED. So it only took 1 week for to get her visa. I wish mine would be the same.

Thank you very much for the reply.

This will pass :) let's be positive that our visas will be released this week. My interview was last September 12 :)

Yes, I'm really having a problem with being positive 'cause I tend to worry a lot and can't stop thinking. I just pray always and distract myself from thinking by spending time here in VisaJourney and eating. Hehe!

BTW, What's the status of your visa now?

The filipino releasing officer only gave me back my appointment letter. So does it mean no problem?

But I kinda feel like I am a candidate to wait a month for my visa since they didn't update my case in CEAC yet. It says it is still READY sad.png

Things are fine. Relax. Even with everything running normal it can be two more weeks.

Yes I agree, just pray hard, it's the best thing we could do. :) Mine was also updated today September 18. I just can't understand why they have to delay the visa even the important documents are already complete. If they can issue visa for only 3 days to some why does it took them 2 weeks or even a month to issue visa to most of the applicants. Just seems unfair to me.

Anyways, just stay positive. Just pray and pray.

Thank you. I really have to relax 'cause ever since we started visa journey, I don't know the word relax anymore, been stress ever since. I'm just really not good in dealing with stress.

Thank you again Hank for being consistent and for the effort of helping me out and thank you so much for the reply.

Hello vjyers. My K1 visa Interview was approved.

My interview with the american consul was not easy but thank God, i got approved. The 4th step which is the releasing step was not easy as well, I waited for almost 2 hours f waiting and 4 times back and forth to window 73 and 74 because they can't see my case they said my case is froze or hang in american consul computer, the fourth time i went back to window 73 the officer just handed me back my appointment letter and told me i can go home since my papers are complete and since the consul told me i'm approved. How about you guys? Did the officer gave you back your appointment letter as well? I didnt even sign any forms for 2GO the officer at window 78 told me no need anymore.

Thank you!

Hi what are the questions did they asked you? Thank you and congrats:)

Hi what are the questions did they asked you? Thank you and congrats:)

Hello

First they asked what's the name of your fiance.

Where does he live. He asked for the state or city only.

How did you two meet.

When is the last time you meet in person.

When did you got engage.

That was the questions. :)

It somehow make me feel better that I am not alone in this waiting game. The last update with my case status was last Sept. 18, no update til now. I wonder what are they doing or are they doing anything. Hehe! :)
