Have you sent any specific evidence related that he's been targeted by Al Qaida? They should consider give you an expedite especially related to terrorism organization like this one.

Thanks for the link however we started on I-130 and I don't think we can switch to any other route.

Along with trying to get an expedite request, I hope he is also trying to get the government to protect him. And if not that, I hope he'll try to move to another country ASAP. His safety is important. Even if the Baghdad embassy doesn't think he is in danger, he needs to get to safety.

His safety is most important now. Terorrists don't care where he is at and they can pursue him whenever he goes. They have branches anywhere. Can you ask an asylum inside the embassy until whole process of your spousal visa has approved? The other thing you can do, try to reach press or media and telling your story.

Send emails to any news outlets to get your story in the news. People would never have second thought if it is about terrorism organization like Al Qaida. Keep posted anything updates about your case. God is watching over you now and love is always the winner. Be strong,
