I wouldn't think so since they need to have those forms before they send out packet 4 (interview letter). The medical stuff gets sent to them by the docs.

1/31/13 - 129F Sent
2/7/13 - NOA1
** transferred with 2nd group from VSC to TSC in late June
7/9/13 - NOA2 (5 months)
8/16/13 - Shipped from TSC
9/11/13 - Packet 3
9/19/13 - Forms sent in.
9/24/13 - Medical Done
9/27/13 - CEAC Status Update
10/02/13 - DS-260 mailed in
10/15/13 - CEAC Status Update (DoS couldn't say what triggered it, did say no interview assigned, but all docs are in)
10/23/13 - Embassy email states they do not have our documents. Poor Steven does 160 again.
10/23/13 - DoS says our case is still "processing" and not "qualified" (interview ready) and to do newest forms.
11/05/13 - CEAC Update. DoS says case is "eligible for interview" and we're waiting on next interview date.
11/08/13 - Another call to DoS (Chris is a nice guy!) and no interview scheduled yet.
11/12/13 - Another call to DoS and no interview scheduled yet.
11/13/13 - Email from Embassy to Steven informing him that his interview is TOMORROW.
Hurray for Patron Saint of Immigrants - Mother Cabrini's Feast Day!
11/14/13 - INTERVIEW --- APPROVED!!!!!
11/19 & 11/20 - CEAC date update, but still at "Ready".
11/21 - CEAC Creation Date & Notice Changed.
11/22 - CEAC AP
11/25 - CEAC ISSUED -- yay!!
11/27 - DoS Shipment Notice (email) in AM. Pickup ready email sent in PM.

Wow. My forms were received on Aug 29th but not logged til September 20th! Still waiting!

Joining the waiting room!

Packet 3 forms sent August 29

Packet 3 forms logged September 6

I received an reply email from the embassy and a CEAC update on September 27 stating we needed to wait 4 weeks from the log date...so this Friday! But nothing yet.

We filed our petition back in December so it's been a long long wait! Hopefully good news on Friday :)

Has anyone else heard of four weeks from logging of forms? From the most part it seems people wait a week if that for their interview date to be assigned once their forms are logged

But two people are almost at four weeks since logging and I'm at 3 weeks since logging today ,when will this nightmare end *sigh*

you do not book an interview, they assign you a date. They will not do this until they have all the forms DS this and that and the medical rsults.

-----My fiance had his medical on the 3rd of September, so we waited for weeks and heard nothing...called DoS last Thursday and they told me his interview is October 21, and his letter was sent out the day before I called. Sometimes you just gotta be patient. ClockWatch2.gif----

My medical was also September 3rd, I have heard nothing :( I emailed the Embassy and they told me my forms were processed on september 20th (GGRRRRR!) and I could expect a 4 week wait - does that mean a 4 week wait for an interview, or a 4 week wait before they even assign an interview????!!!

From what I have seen, the "norm", such as it is, is that it's the latter. About 4wks for the letter, which gives you appointment a few weeks on from that.

From what I've seen tracking in the last couple of months you get the interview letter EITHER 2 weeks after packet 3 docs and medical are logged, for a date 4 weeks in the future, OR 4 weeks after packet 3 docs and medical are logged, for a date 2 weeks in the future.

EITHER WAY its a wait of 6 weeks from packet 3 docs and medical being logged.

And then one further week for the return of passports. This is not bad, considering the 202 days it took USCIS to approve our petition.

They will also move your interview date forward via the Contact Form if you ask and give good reasons for doing so, they did for me, (I got a reply after 5 business days) only I ended up not taking it due to travel issues.

IME they are immensely helpful within the parameters they work in and they will get to you, its just a matter of time.

Good luck everybody.

We are still waiting as well, to the point I feel like they forgot about us. Our forms were signed for Aug 27th, and our CEAC shows our forms were all logged (except the DS-2001) on Septeber 16th. Still no date. Has anyone gotten a date in the week/current week at all here?

I received a email from the embassy this morning stating I can expect to receive a interview approx five weeks from the forms being logged before receiving a interview date, so taking into consideration it's taking the embassy around six weeks to log forms right now and then add the other five onto that,it could be possible to wait around 11weeks to receive a interview date!!

So me having my forms logged Sept 9th can expect to receive a interview date 5 weeks from that date,so looms like I could be waiting another two weeks to receive a interview date

I wonder if they take length of time fom NOA1 to NOA2 into account. Our petition was sent in early Dec 2012 and spent 201 days being sat on and then shuffled around from Vermont to Texas before we got Approval. Then it was another 90 days until the interview date. If you filed later than this and got a quick Approval the wait time is at the tail end rather than at the beginning. Maybe they're just trying to make it fair for everybody.

Yay that's great news! My forms were also logged on September 20th so it gives me a little hope of hearing something soon...... Did you put a wedding date of soon, I wonder if that still makes any difference?

I didn't put a date on the forms but I emailed them once my forms were logged explaining that we would like to get married before our religious holiday which at the time was looking to be on 14th October. It's now on 15th... Don't think I'll be able to make it for that now though
