Who is waiting for an interview date?

What does it mean when people are saying their forms have been logged? I sent all my DS forms about 3 weeks ago and I had my Medical on September 11. So going off what people are saying on here I'm no where near getting an interview date yet.

If you go here: https://ceac.state.gov/CEACStatTracker/Status.aspx?eQs=o/iS8zDpeAKjMWCuebHqOw== and put your LND number in, it will show the status of your file.. If you notice that if the 'Status Update' date is different from the 'Case Creation' date, then that means someone has been messing around with your forms.

That is when you can call DoS at 202-485-7600. Press 1, then 0. When an operator picks up, tell them you have an update on your case and would like to know what it is about. They will ask for your case number (LND2013XXXXXX) and a few security questions about the beneficiary. Most of the time they will be able to tell you what has been done with your file.. This is when they tell you if the embassy has put your papers into their system (logged).

Thanks for your reply that's great information. Is that phone number you give me definitely right? Just because I'm trying to call it and it won't work. Probably my useless phone.

Or is it because that's an American number I'm calling?

It's American so I believe you need to actually call 001-202-485-7600.

Yes, sorry, it is an American number.. So you would just need to add a '1' before all those numbers!

Now that they received my medical results on the 18th, I just have to wait for this interview date. I was thinking of calling DOS or the Embassy up in a couple of weeks time just to check up on the case and maybe see if a date had been booked already at that time.

It would be nice if they just posted a little note saying what the update was for when you search your case on CEAC.

Finally! So good to see an update on CEAC today, our forms have been logged (sent 4 weeks and 2 days ago) just waiting for an interview date now. Fingers crossed that gets assigned soon, I'll call back DOS early next week to see if we have. Keep positive everyone else in similar positions

Thanks to ejjett for the link above. It's quite frustrating to find any kind of update on K-1 status.

Sent the forms to London embassy on August 16, they were logged on September 12. Now waiting and praying for a correspondence on interview date. Surprising how much slower the process is in the UK opposed to other parts of the world.

Has anyone received a response by using the "contact form"? I have tried numerous times with no luck. Please let me know if there are any other numbers or links to consider in order to get an interview date update. Quite painful to wait everyday for a letter to arrive.

Thanks

I used the contact form, took 3 weeks to reply and by then I had my interview date which was what I was enquiring about.

5 days indeed!!!

Using that, London is taking 81 days (based on VJ members with timelines) and trending up.

You don't have a timeline, but nobbie's does so using VJ averages, he will finish Oct 15.
