I'm really hoping all the people that sent their paperwork end of August & beginning of September hear something soon!!!

From what I've read on the forum, the CEAC updates really don't seem to add up to much. It seems as though some people get their interview dates with no CEAC updates and others have CEAC updates with

December 12th, 2013: Picked up marriage license.

December 14th, 2013: Wedding

Nothing here either, though I didn't get a chance to call DoS yet.

1/31/13 - 129F Sent
2/7/13 - NOA1
** transferred with 2nd group from VSC to TSC in late June
7/9/13 - NOA2 (5 months)
8/16/13 - Shipped from TSC
9/11/13 - Packet 3
9/19/13 - Forms sent in.
9/24/13 - Medical Done
9/27/13 - CEAC Status Update
10/02/13 - DS-260 mailed in
10/15/13 - CEAC Status Update (DoS couldn't say what triggered it, did say no interview assigned, but all docs are in)
10/23/13 - Embassy email states they do not have our documents. Poor Steven does 160 again.
10/23/13 - DoS says our case is still "processing" and not "qualified" (interview ready) and to do newest forms.
11/05/13 - CEAC Update. DoS says case is "eligible for interview" and we're waiting on next interview date.
11/08/13 - Another call to DoS (Chris is a nice guy!) and no interview scheduled yet.
11/12/13 - Another call to DoS and no interview scheduled yet.
11/13/13 - Email from Embassy to Steven informing him that his interview is TOMORROW.
Hurray for Patron Saint of Immigrants - Mother Cabrini's Feast Day!
11/14/13 - INTERVIEW --- APPROVED!!!!!
11/19 & 11/20 - CEAC date update, but still at "Ready".
11/21 - CEAC Creation Date & Notice Changed.
11/22 - CEAC AP
11/25 - CEAC ISSUED -- yay!!
11/27 - DoS Shipment Notice (email) in AM. Pickup ready email sent in PM.
11/28 - Steven picks up docs from Bridgend - Happy Thanksgiving!
12/15/13 - Arrival in US. POE: JFK. (Heathrow - JKF - Richmond, VA by evening)
Getting Married in January with small ceremony.

Good point, Avery! I'm having a challenging week and immigration always simmering beneath the surface doesn't help matters. If I remember correctly, you were hoping for a Halloween wedding. I am truly sorry that isn't going to happen. I think only folks in the thick of this really understand just how much it stinks.. especially when you have your wedding visualized. I'm grateful that my fiance, his family, and mine are all gracefully accepting my firm desire for a (short!) beach wedding. My wedding photographer has even agreed to show up on Sunday instead of Saturday if the weather on Sat stinks! (It's a small wedding, so we can be flexible). The one perk though is that the large beach houses are reasonably priced in winter!!

I dunno how helpful this is, but I noticed on their twitter account yesterday they are saying it's taking them 6 weeks from getting the stuff back to give an interview date:

Think we were pretty much exactly six weeks, so seems likely...

I-130/IR-1 visa by Direct Consular Filing in London:
25th August 2006 - Married in Pennsylvania
09th July 2013 - I-130 filed

11th July 2013 - Notice of receipt (NOA1)

19th July 2013 - NOA2 approved (8 days)

16th August 2013 - Packet 3 received

28th August 2013 - Packet 3 forms received by Embassy

31st August 2013 - Medical

25th September 2013 - Packet 3 logged

11th October 2013 - Packet 4 received (sent on the 9th October, no CEAC update for this)

22nd October 2013 - Interview (Approved, CEAC status changed to Administrative processing, then to ISSUED)

24th October 2013 - Email stating passport released to courier

25th October 2013 - Collected passport from courier

15th December 2013 - Leave the UK (sailing)

23rd December 2013 - POE (Brooklyn sea port)

Got our interview date issued to us yesterday, finally.

It's for November 1st.

...one day AFTER our petition expires. So now I have to get another letter of intent, find somewhere to get it notarized, and spend another $20 to have it sent over there and hope it makes it in time.

Got the interview date today. There was no status update on CEAC website, called the DOS to check the status and got the date Nov 5.

3/22/2014: AOS (I-485/I-765/I-131)

6/30/2014: Received interview waiver letter

02/27/2015: Green Card received

I-751

12/14/2016: Petition mailed to Vermont Service Center (USPS Priority Mail)

12/16/2016: Petition delivered to VSC.

12/21/2016: ACH hold for Payment of $590

12/23/2016: Received NOA1 dated 12/19/2016

01/07/2017: Received Biometric dated 12/31/2016

01/18/2017: Biometrics Appointment  

11/25/2017: Received Approval letter dated 11/18/2107

11/28/2017: Status changed to "new Card is being produced" 

11/30/2017: Status changed to "Card was mailed to me" 

12/04/2017: Received my Green Card. 

N-400

11/30/2017: Applied Online 

12/01/2017: NOA uploaded to my account. 

12/02/2017:  Status changed Biometrics appointment was schedule (Waiting for letter upload to my account )
