He's right though.No well look at the shooters comment as of yet. So it's a civil discussion.

We live in a culture that is in love with guns and the ideal of killing the bad guys. Sometimes it takes a bad turn.

In my defense. It is fun.

And believe it or not, I enjoy good humor and a clever zinger is laughed at even if directed at me. Like i said it's all in fun most of the time. Most of the regular posters are good folks, with the exception of one or two.

The only thing I don't like is the posters that can only respond with personal insults. We all have our moments but when you can't answer a post without calling someone stupid it gets old

Nobody ever said the 'love of guns' - interesting term; not sure how one can actually love an inanimate object but I guess that is what distinguishes me from the gun aficionados - causes these things. What it does, as AJ said earlier, is enable it.

True, there is something behind all of this. The WNY isn't a high value target, sounds like something was going on outside of there and it ended up there. Many navy and marine folks are in my office right now trying to figure it out.

Seriously? People love their cars. People love their shiny new iPhones. People love their life size anatomically correct dolls.

Personally, I love the plate of food in front of me. Yes, love. It is not inanimate (now, having been slaughtered and cooked) but I love it still. I love it so much I'm going to eat it and make it part of me.
