Not bad, especially for a Marine. I figured it would take you at least two more tries.

Hahaha...no wonder you just didn't come out and say Air Farce...lol

Is that actually a branch of the "armed forces" now? They issue you guys those wooden parade jobbers don't they? Be careful, you could get a good welt from that oak.

And that 3 weeks of basic has got to be a killer I bet? LMAO! Do they have hotels for the recruits?

It makes sense now that you think the sky is falling. They need to train you guys in the art of actual "combat" and you wouldn't feel so insecure in the private sector.

Be proud of your service there Air Winger...just come out and say "Air Force" like you got a pair. I'd never let somebody guess the United States Marine Corps! Oooorah!

It's all becoming crystal clear now.

Semper Fi...

oh joy. Welcome to page 41. I'm not even gonna read the stuff - just wanted to drop in, say hullo, inquire for new aromas or scents ..

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.

Oh... I gotcha now. You're insinuating the background checks will stop felons/mentals at point of sale.

Sure. Maybe that could work. But... they're already stopped from buying meth and crack and whatnot. How's that working out?

I see. So any law that can be broken should not be passed, ignored or put away with. We should only pass and have laws that cannot be broken. Which means that we should not have any laws whatsoever. Brilliant!

And so the same conclusion has been reached that we always seem to get around to. If this law doesn't work all the time, why pass any new ones? Just arm everyone and let the killing begin.wacko.png

I'm surprised the car argument hasn't been brought up yet. I figured Harsh was a slam dunk for that one.

Mr. Big Dog, good video exposing the ease with which one can obtain firearms without even so much as showing an id. Confirms everything we've been saying about the need for national laws. It was funny to watch that NRA dude mumble and stumble his way through the question and answer period as well.

and that is the kind of rhetoric from the anti- folks that make a sane debate impossible

Was is sane about a group that advocates the arming of all white citizens in case they decide to overthrow a constitutionally elected governemnt in a civilized, peaceful, democratic society?

I am glad people in 1776 did not feel that way

Yes, because the British were so evil and the Americans were so righteous, refusing to pay for troops that protected the colonials from the French and the Indians, so they could amass fortunes smuggling goods on ships built solely for that purpose.

Well it was more having to pay lofty taxes with no voice in parliament.

The taxes were not that lofty.

The Stamp Act was passed by the British Parliament on March 22, 1765. The new tax was imposed on all American colonists and required them to pay a tax on every piece of printed paper they used. Ship's papers, legal documents, licenses, newspapers, other publications, and even playing cards were taxed. The money collected by the Stamp Act was to be used to help pay the costs of defending and protecting the American frontier near the Appalachian Mountains (10,000 troops were to be stationed on the American frontier for this purpose).

The actual cost of the Stamp Act was relatively small.
