Really? At what venue does the law drop the age verification requirement for alcohol sales?

Gun shows.

The legal drinking age is 14 at all NRA events.

What makes you think the US armed forces would be functional after a breakdown of society?

Satellites are no good when there's nobody monitoring the signals.

I'm baffled when our president says we need "more background checks" when these dudes are purchasing their guns legally. Only a ** would suggest a bigger government fix to a problem that doesn't exist.

Well there you go!

You've never been in the military have you?

It's kind of funny...but continue the video game in your mind.

I have . I think a lot of the military would not follow the orders of the government. Pretty conservitive bunch

Oh...like voter fraud?

Is that why they don't allow loaded firearms at gun shows?

They say, "take yer beer and load that in the parking lot little feller."

What branch was that?

The one with all the satellites and stuff.

There's an age verification requirement for purchasing firearms as well. Your point that we should just stop checking IDs for alcohol because we don't for guns is silly. We do check for guns. And an ID check for alcohol hasn't exactly stopped kids from drinking, has it?

What you're apparently suggesting here is what Obama and 'nem are saying too. "If we make background checks universally required then bad people won't get guns." ORLY? Is that why kids don't drink alcohol?

You guys amaze me sometimes.

Gun shows.

I've never been to a gun show where alcohol was sold.

Yeah, that's why Bradly Manning's are coming out of the woodwork. He's one guy out of millions in the military.

Give me a break...everyone still wants to eat. As you know when you're in, they got you by the b@lls.

it's amazing all those deranged gun nuts get together in the midst of all those weapons, but oddly there is almost never any violence.. Almost..

More people have been killed in secure buildings with zero gun polices, that had armed guards than at gun shows.

And that ID tell the seller whether the buyer is a felon or mentally deficient? How is that?

Oh... I gotcha now. You're insinuating the background checks will stop felons/mentals at point of sale.

Sure. Maybe that could work. But... they're already stopped from buying meth and crack and whatnot. How's that working out?

Air force?

Not bad, especially for a Marine. I figured it would take you at least two more tries.
