That's the key, but unfortunately a lot of people are willing to accept this as reality. That sometimes, these things will happen. They shouldn't be happening at the rate they do in this country.

I think there are a million factors that play into why.

All I am saying is we need to have a rational debate about the root cause of this instead of politicizing it to further an agenda.

I don't know either, because these stories can't be ignored. The media turns them into week long events, with their own music and graphics to go along with it, though. Which is tasteless and unnecessary. It's apparently hard to find a happy medium between reporting the facts and turning into a circus.

It's difficult to have a rational debate about stories like this, because ultimately, the talk turns to guns. And nobody on either side is capable of being rational about that discussion. I don't believe guns are the ROOT of the problem, but I certainly believe they make things easier for those who want to carry out ####### like this.
