While I am impatient too, I find it hard to get upset at an illegal immigrant whose parents brought him or her here as a child. It's not like they had a choice. But now they can be legal in the country in which they were raised. Based on what happened in Washington, DC at the Navy Yard today, I don't think crime is limited to illegal immigrants.

I assume that when Division XIII at Overland Park becomes operational (sometime before the end of September) we'll see some movement. Division XIII will handle stand-alone I-130s ONLY - so hopefully that will streamline the process. Those of you with I-130s with other forms, or doing DCF will go through another processing center.

Great reply! I am sponsoring my husband, we both live in CA right now and from what I understand there is no DCF for Canada so does that mean we will fit in that I-130 stand alone category?

this is so depressing! I have been Maried since Jan, 2013 and we barely filled in Jun, 2013 every single time I check something online regarding the topic I get all anxious. when we started the dates said 3-5 months. the time then changed 6-9 months, later it was 8.4-13.5 months or something like that. now it says 6-8.4 months. I dont know why though every time I want to check the service center it directs me to Vermont Service center... do you guys have an Idea where they are processing the cases?

hasn't been a 130 sent to Vermont for over a year

your receipt has msc?? yes??

that is nbc .. they have them all since last year, then route to a local office

new facility coming this month.. so could go there too.. just too hard to guess what is going on now

I am not familiar with the k3 processing other than they should stay at nbc for processing, but who knows these days

CA=Canada, not California, right? Canada does have DCF.

Canada, and nope, no DCF as of this yr I think, all applications have to go through the NBC.

Urgh, I hadn't heard that, thanks for the info! Why'd they turf it? Seemed a really useful program.
