NVC..DS260..

Ok so according to the NVC website effective Sept 3, they are not longer accepting DS230 paper application..all is DS260 which is the electric form..so here is my question..I have noticed while speaking to the oh so helpful NVC customer services reps on the phone that there is some confussion on when this is taking place. When I called I was told that there was no need to complete a DS230 because my husbands DS230 was already reviewed on August 26th and just waiting to review the checklist that was received..However I am noticing others are getting different answers, those that have already submited a DS230 that was reviewed are being told to also submit a DS260..Any one else getting mixed responses to this from the NVC???

Whats been happening is those like you already submitted the DS-230 but the ones who have to redo and submit a DS-260 are those folk who got a checklist. So they got caught in the new process. lovely..we got a checklist on august 28th..they got the checklist mail from us on sept 11th..this is just madness...

The checklist was for one of the civil documents..a police record..nothing was wrong with the form its self..does that matter?

I was informed that as lo g as everything checks out with the checklist and your 230 has already been axxepted then you do not jhave to worry..we were missing one document...they said the only way that we would be required to fill out 260 is if they found something else wrong...they have already accepted our 230...hoping and praying for a case complete should know by sept 26th!!!! Fingers crossed!!! Good luck!!

I submit via snail mail the ds-230 aug30 together the civil documents. since the ds-260 is already available online in my portal payment, i already fill up the form also

And submit, it won't it hurt u,, just the sams content of ds-230. I call ghe nvc she said, they already accecpt ng ds-230 and she said its okey if u will fill up the form online..

I will share to you the interview of my daughter for his 4 year old son last other week September 5, 2013. His minor son is to follow in short. During their interview with his minor son Consul find it out the form in her file is DS-230. What happened is.. The consul reschedule their interview because DS-230 which is already 3 years in her file is already obsolete. The consul advise my daughter to get the form DS-260. I am the petitioner so I log-in in CEAC website and click the edit/view under the name of my daughter then I click the left side Get Started for his little boy after filling up the form few seconds NVC reply with the letter of confirmation my daughter print it and the call for another schedule.. she is lucky she get the early interview same month September 12. now they are waiting for the delivery of the packet with the passport with visa..

ok so gave the nvc a call..spoke to a supervisor..advised since the ds-230 was accepted and reviewed it is not needed to do a ds260..hamdolilah!
