Proof of Domicile for Military

Hi everyone!

I have a question about the affidavit of support evidence as well as proof of domicile. My Fiance is a US Marine and so for the evidence of financial support we are submitting banks statements as well as when he joined the military, his contract with them and how much they pay him etc. Will this evidence also show proof of domicile? He lives in the barracks and so doesn't have any bills for rent because it is paid for by the military. I was thinking of having him get some kind of letter stating that he lives on base. Is this necessary? Will just him being part of the military be proof enough?

hi, my fiance is a us marine too. for proof we submitted his W2's and LES. He's been in the marines 3 years so we submitted all 3 years of W2's and we picked the most recent months for LES (6 months worth). He also had his CO make a formal letter (with the letterhead) that included his rank, his pay, when his enlistment is up, and that his CO is confident he can support me. (include any other info you think will be useful). We also sent bank statements from Navy Fed to prove he has savings and a photocopy of his ID for proof that he is currently employed. He also used the PSMC program to print his personal compensation. Other military branches have dedicated people to help you with this, not with the marines -.- We had to do everything on our own and the military helpline of USCIS wasnt much help. goodluck!

My visa just got approved last week and we are also stationed overseas. We submitted LES (3 months) and tax returns for the last 3 years, as for proof of domicile, submitted hubby's passport copy, birth certificate, current orders and statement of service. We are in the navy but it should have some similarity.
