Well I thought , i hope everyone has a good weekend...a calm and restful one! Yea the fon lines work again in DZ! And I was only planning on a short 10min call...turned into a 3 hour ordeal! :blush:

I ate this vegan tiramisu thing... I donnot feel so good now :crying::crying: Yikes tofutti nasty! Or maybe just eating that, mixed with the Vapor rub I used... Donnow!

HHappy Saturday all. Going to try making chicken tagine today. Hope it is as big a hit as the kefta tagine. Then having dinner with Zuki and AmerMaroc.

Charles: hope you had a productive night at work.

Sarah : hope you are feeling better.

Henia: did you recover from the tiamisu?? That is my favorite dessert. Didn't know they made a vegetarian version.

Good Morning all!

Another frigid day in NY. As for my plans today I am going to Brooklyn to explore a new neighborhood to move to next year. MY lease will expire in may and both of us are so ready for change in scenery. San Antonio, TX looked so gorgeous on the other thread...I always wanted to visit but still haven't gotten there yet. I hope that everyone has a great weekend and stay warm people...I hate cold weather...I am not sure why when people know that I am from Poland originally they assume that I should be used to the cold weather and just love it...such a bad misconception...Hate anything that goes below 50...

Hi, Dorothy,

I have a friend here in Dallas that came over from Poland . . . I don't think she misses the cold weather from there at all. She tries to bring her mother over from Poland for the winter as much as she can (I think she manages every other year so far).

Speaking of which, I think I'll give Danuta a call this weekend!

Oh, I've heard that lots of Egyptians live in New Jersey, so I was wondering how all those ppl from the desert countries fare when they end up in the cold northern parts of the States. What is cold in Egypt is not so cold in Dallas . . . but it does get as hot here in Texas as Egypt . . . we just have A/C everywhere, LOL!! I think Morocco must be similar to Egypt since they are both located on the med in NA. . . . although Morocco has more coast line on the Atlantic than the Mediterranean. Hmmmm, going to peruse a map.

I'm off for most of the day . . . playing with my sword!

Good morning all! Had a little bit of trouble rolling out of bed this morning. But then again, I had a rough night sleep. Anywhoosie... I am working until noon and then spending a few hours with my husband, then going to the bakery for 4 hours, then going home to rest. So my day is pretty busy. Well I gotta get going. Happy Saturday everybody! I have the day off! yahooooooooooo Today I am taking Alexis to the mall. I have a feeling today is gonna cost me. :) I adore spending time with her and my daughter needs a break for a few hours. Lexy said yesterday, 'grammy I need crafts.' I feel a craft store spree coming on.

Maggie?: Yes, tiramisu is my fav too...I bought this variety at Whole Foods...vegan...so means no "good stuff" like eggs... made up some vegan ingreidents...donnot ask me what...but I am still feeling sick :lol:

I donnow, I just personally find that word funny. I visualise a brain scattered...:lol: yes I am werid like that...I feel kinda scatter brained today myself.

Sorry to hear you are still sick. Maybe it's a sign that you should stick with the original...some things should not be altered!
